A meeting was held recently between PC Rob Barker from Wing Police Office and a few local residents from Pitstone and Ivinghoe. Those attending represented local Neighbourhood Watch schemes, Parish Councils and the Pitstone Hall Committee.
Discussions took place regarding how best to combat the increasing anti-social behaviour and criminal damage occurring in the two villages.
It was suggested that it may be possible for Thames Valley Police and Pitstone and Ivinghoe parish councils to share the cost of employing a Police Community Support Officer dedicated to Pitstone and Ivinghoe.
If you would like to see a police resource dedicated to Pitstone and Ivinghoe local residents must make their support know at the Pitstone Parish Council Meeting due to take place on 22nd December 05.
